Many Ohioans are now working virtually due to coronavirus-related stay-at-home orders.  And business leaders are discovering that employee productivity often has been stable or even increased compared to physically being in the office.

News and information website cleveland.com investigated methods to best work remotely.  In their article, How to Work from Home without Hurting Your Back or Driving Your Family Crazy: Everything You Need to Know, they spoke to several individuals on the topic, including HR firm CEOs and university professors.

Also interviewed was Gary Allread, program director of SRI-Ergonomics. Dr. Allread discussed the importance of using a comfortable, stable chair for doing computer work, changing work postures and taking brief breaks frequently throughout the workday, and the long-term problems with using laptops.

Check out the article for more details, or the OSHA publication, Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19, to learn more broadly how to keep employees safe from contracting or spreading the coronavirus.
