SRI: SRI Director co-authors award-winning paper

Dr. William Marras was one of eight distinguished researchers and practitioners who received the 2013 Liberty Mutual Award for their scientific paper, A Strategy for Human Factors/Ergonomics: Developing the Discipline and Profession.  This paper was published in the journal Ergonomics in 2012 and proposes a new strategy for the field of human factors/ergonomics.  Roger Haslam, coordinating editor of Ergonomics, stated that the paper, “represents a paradigm shift in thinking about the future strategy and direction of human factors and ergonomics.”
