welcome

The Biodynamics Laboratory is located in the Department of Integrated Systems Engineering at The Ohio State University. The lab is also a part of the Institute for Ergonomics.

We have developed a unique research program that focuses on the study of occupational joint loading under dynamic conditions. Our goal is to obtain a better understanding of occupational ergonomics through the laboratory quantification of information gathered directly from industry.

Dr. William S. Marras, Director of the Biodynamics Laboratory, briefly introduces the subject of occupational injury research. (Quicktime, 2.14mb)
